Lobsters for your Beach House was inspired by pattern, texture and the prickly red lobster shells that I used to collect from diner’s tables on Lobster Night at The Tyler Place Family Resort in Vermont. Raw grits (like you eat!) create the bumpy texture of the lobster’s shells. The original Lobsters is currently hanging on the wall of its owner’s beach house.
This print is created from my original mixed media piece, Lobsters for Your Beach House (2010), and is printed on archival, acid free matte paper. Available in sizes 8x10" and 16x20".
