Moon’s Mountains was commissioned by a childhood friend who wanted an original piece of artwork that would bring her joy when she looked at it. She told me that she loved mountains, birds and all shades of pink. And when she received the finished piece, she told me it was perfect! Linen fabric creates the moon and mountain tops and the birds are individually hand-cut from a sheet of paper I painted with watercolors.
This print is created from my original mixed media piece, Moon’s Mountains (2017), and is printed on archival, acid free matte paper. Available in sizes 9x12" and 16x21".
