I created these pieces to illustrate the signing of the Florida Wildlife Corridor Act by Governor Ron DeSantis, which took place on June 29, 2021. The Florida Wildlife Corridor Act will secure access to habitats for wide ranging wildlife, including the endangered Florida panther, preventing fragmentation of critical lands, protecting the headwaters of major watersheds, helping to sustain working farms, lands and forests, preserving lands and waters to protect coastal estuaries. The state budget also includes significant funding for land conservation within the corridor, which will help to protect critical lands for the Florida panther and other species native to Florida.
